About Education
This course teaches Azure Solution Architects how to design infrastructure solutions. The course covers management, compute, application architecture, storage, data integration, authentication, networks, business continuity, and migrations. Lectures are combined with case studies to illustrate key architectural design principles.
Prerequisites Before taking this course, participants must have experience deploying or managing Azure resources and have strong conceptual knowledge of the following topics:
- Azure compute technologies such as virtual machines, containers, and serverless solutions
- Azure virtual network technologies, including load balancers
- Azure storage technologies (unstructured data and databases)
- General application design concepts such as messaging and high availability
Recommended Prerequisites:
- M-AZ104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
Duration of Training
- Face-to-face training: 4 days of hands-on laboratory work
- Virtual education: 4 days of hands-on lab work in web-based classes
Who Should Participate?
This course is for participants who have experience and knowledge of IT operations such as network management, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms and management. Participants also have experience designing and architecting solutions.
