About Education
Implementing Automation for Cisco Service Provider Solutions (SPAUI) course provides the knowledge and skills required to implement and support automation solutions in Service Provider network infrastructure. Through lectures and hands-on labs, you learn to deploy, configure, monitor, and operate Service Provider network environments using modern data models.
These models allow operational data to be represented and manage hundreds or thousands of devices in a single operation using new network management protocols. It replaces traditional CLI-based, error-prone and time-consuming device management. The training also introduces powerful automation solutions that optimize network operations.
The following topics are covered in the training:
- YANG data models and validation tools
- RESTCONF and NETCONF management protocols
- Model-driven telemetry with gRPC and gNMI
- Traffic automation with XR Transport Control (XTC)
- SSH-based automation tools like NetMiko and Ansible
- Orchestration of network services with Cisco NSO
- NFV lifecycle management with Elastic Services Controller (ESC)
- Automation of network operations with WAN Automation Engine (WAE)
The course provides preparation for the 300-535 Automating and Programming Cisco Service Provider Solutions (SPAUTO) certification exam. It is recommended to take the Introducing Automation for Cisco Solutions (CSAU) training before attending this course.
Prerequisites
Before attending this training, it is recommended that you have knowledge and experience in the following subjects:
